COMING in FROM THE EAST or WEST on I-10 Coming in from the East take Exit 510 and go toward Chalmette. Exit south toward Chalmette and continue for about 6.5 miles to highway #46 also called St. Bernard Highway and turn right. Stay on Highway 46 for about 3.5 miles to Caffin Avenue turn left and go to Charters Street. At Charters take a left and go 2 blocks and turn right on Alabo Street. Check in at the Guard House. COMING IN FROM THE WEST ON I-10 or the I-610 follow signs that say Slidell and then exit the same as the above at the 510 Chalmette Exit and go south.
